Our family will be living in a fully-furnished vacation home, just a few minutes from Ross' work facility. It is also steps away from JP Coleman State Park, which borders Pickwick Lake. We will be about 15 minutes from the closest town- Iuka, Mississippi. Iuka has the essentials- a couple grocery stores, a library, a few restaurants you have heard of (McDonald's and Sonic) and many mom-and-pop places you haven't (The Farmhouse is delicious!)
We will be in a very rural area- some may call it "the middle of nowhere."

I read an article about a year ago that was meant to encourage men who were pastoring churches in rural areas. The author argued that there is no such thing as "the middle of nowhere" to God. Each bit of his creation matters to him- no matter how many people or businesses or cars there are- God cares deeply for His people, no matter where they are.
That thought deeply comforts me! We may have sketchy cell phone service in our rental home, but the Lord will hear our prayers perfectly.
