Monday in Corinth

We sent Ross to work on Monday (somebody's gotta make the money...) and the rest of us piled into the Transit and headed to Corinth, MS.  Ezra was overdue for his 4 month well check and vaccinations.  After a very frustrating trek around the hospital parking lot, I finally found the office.  Here he and I are waiting for the doctor.

He's always been a big boy... he weighed in at 16 pounds 4 ounces this time!

The kids stayed in the car with Grandma and Grandpa and watched a Winnie the Pooh movie while we were in the office.

After our appointment, we went to old downtown Corinth and grabbed a takeout lunch from the oldest soda fountain in the state. We sat and ate the yummiest hamburgers outside the courthouse.  Here we are:

We then headed to the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center.  The visitor center was closed :(  But we were able to walk around the battlefield some and see some of the old cannons.  It was getting very hot at this point and we all started wilting.  Unfortunately, I have no pictures from this location...  we'll have to return on a cooler day!
