Driving day 1: Phoenix to Tucumcari

We made it! Our first travel day went very smoothly with only a little roadwork and a little screaming/crying in the car. 🙂

Overall, the kids did great. Now we are trying to all settle down in the hotel room so we can get a good night's sleep and hit the road again tomorrow.

Next stop: Joplin, Missouri
