We've already talked about needing patience on road trips. Today's lesson was flexibility. We were planning on staying the night with Ross' cousin and his family in Burlington, KY. We haven't seen them since our trip back in 2009. They haven't met any of our kids.
But one of their sons has the stomach bug. Six of us had it in April and then seven of us had it in June. We don't want to risk getting it again, now.
So we decided to drive straight across Illinois, Indiana and into Columbus
, Ohio.
We were really looking forward to a home cooked meal and hugs from friends. But we're going to trust that this is God's good plan for us today.
I have tomorrow off and there's nobody to play with! Really missing you all...
