Last Full Day in Mississippi

Well... the stuff we have needed for the past 5 months has been packed up (mostly!) and we are getting ready for bed one last time in Mississippi.  Even my child who has told me almost every single day that she wants to go home to the desert is sad. (That'd be Viv) Change is hard!  Ezra and I sat by the creek this afternoon for a few minutes, soaking up every last bit of the beauty and peace to be had there.

Earlier today we said goodbye to so many new friends at Trinity Presbyterian Church.  That was sad.  But we all agreed that our time there was sweet to our souls.  What a blessing to be able to meet other believers and to sing and learn alongside them!  We told them all that if they were ever in Phoenix, we would love to have them.  Regardless, if we never see them again, we look forward to the new heavens and the new earth, where we shall be reunited.  What a pleasant thought!

We had breakfast sandwiches for lunch at a yummy donut shop in Corinth.  Probably a good thing we just discovered this place.  That could become a dangerous-to-our-health habit!

Then we came home and packed and procrastinated then packed and procrastinated some more.  We'll head out as soon as we can in the morning.  Knowing the seven of us... it'll be amazing if we are on the road by 9am!
